ELIBILITY FOR PAKISTAN NAVY

There are various courses of Pakistan Navy. The applicant for the courses must be a citizen of Pakistan fulfilling the eligibility for each course as follows (year 2017):

   PN Cadet (Permanent Commission)

 Education

• Both Matric (or O-level) and F/Sc (or A-level) with atleast 60 % marks
• Candidate must have passed F/Sc (or A-level) with following subjects:
Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry
or
Physics, Mathematics & Computer Science
or
Physics, Mathematics & Statistics

 Gender: Male
 Marital status: Unmarried

 Age:
 Civilian applicant: 16 ½  to 21 years
 Serving applicant: 17 to 23 years
 Minimum Height: 5 feet and 4 inches

   Education Branch (Short Service Commission)

 Education : MSc or equivalent with atleast 2nd Division in any of the following:

• Psychology
• Library Sciences

 Gender: Male/ Female
 Age: 20 to 28 years
 Height:
 Male: 5 feet and 4 inches
 Female: 5 feet

After the course is advertised the candidate has to undergo the following steps:

• Online Registration
• Entry Test
• Initial Medical Examination & Interview
• ISSB Tests
• Medical Screening at CMH/PN Hospital
• Final Selection

   Operations (Short Service Commission SSC)

 Education: Graduation (14 years or above) with atleast 45% marks as well as FSc or equivalent having Physics and Maths with atleast 45 % marks

 Gender: Male
 Age: 20 to 26 years
 Minimum Height: 5 feet and 4 inches

After the course is advertised the candidate has to undergo the following steps:

• Online Registration
• Entry Test
• Initial Medical Examination & Interview
• ISSB Tests
• Medical Screening at CMH/PN Hospital
• Final Selection

   Weapon Engineering (Short Service Commission)

 Education: BE Electronic with minimum 50% marks
 Age: 20 to 26 years
 Gender: Male
 Height: 5 feet and 4 inches

   Special Branch - Imagery (Short Service Commission)

 Education: Master/Bachelor degree (16 years) with atleast 50% marks. The MSc Space studies (preference will be given to experience)
 Age: 20 to 35 years
 Gender: Male
 Height: 5 feet and 4 inches
